The team at Boneshaker Press sent me a copy of the previous year's book to photograph and post-process. The team used the raw images as a base for the Kickstarter marketing materials, editing the colors as needed and overlaying the new book cover.

Beautiful post-processing work by Jeszika Le Vye, transforming the photo into a fairytale wonderland. This campaign was challenging to shoot color-wise in that exceptionally dry, brown Seattle summer. This tiny patch of buttercups worked well in the end!

Encounters with the Imaginary is a creature art anthology published yearly by Boneshaker Press. Boneshaker ran a successful 2017 Kickstarter campaign to fund Volume 2, which was released in early 2018. In 2017 the Boneshaker team asked me to create product photography for the project, and the photos were used in the Kickstarter campaign and marketing efforts on social media.
